CHRIST TEMPLE APOSTOLIC FAITH CHURCH

ENCOURAGING WORDS

From the desk of .... Bishop Gabriel Halton

Praise the Lord,

Praise the Lord, Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. We are continually experiencing great things in 2009. We are still “Holding the Line in 2009”, and expecting a mighty move of God. Most recently we concluded our “Fresh Wind ~ Encounter a Spiritual Awakening” conference. Our guest speakers for this conference included: Evangelist Cora Pope of Benevolent Love Ministries, Bishop C. Wayne Brantley of Zion Pentecostal Church of Christ, Pastor Dr. Belinda Scott of New Spirit Revival Center Ministries, and Pastors Robert and Michelle Moore of Cathedral Worship Center. From beginning to end the presence of God’s anointing moved through the atmosphere. God breathed into people’s situations and circumstances and deliverance and healing took place.

The month of August is “Dress Down” month here at CTAFC, Inc. We cordially invite ALL to attend this month’s services in comfortable but modest attire. This month is also dedicated to witnessing and winning souls for the Kingdom of God. We implore you to invite 8 people to services this month that are in need of a special blessing, deliverance and/or salvation. We will be praying with you that your loved ones, friends, and neighbors come to know the Lord in the pardoning of their sins. On Friday, August 14th experience “One Night with the King”, as the renowned Bishop Lambert W. Gates Sr. brings forth a dynamic word for the people of God. Sunday, August 30th is our Family and Friends Day and service begins at 10:45AM. Our theme this year is “Building Relationships through the Church Community”. Acts 2:44 says, “And all that believed were together, and had all things in common;”

We encourage you to attend our weekly services at CTAFC starting with Bible Class on Wednesdays and Personal Development on Fridays at 7:00PM. Sundays begin with Sunday School at 9:30AM and morning worship at 10:45AM. For those that can’t make it to Sunday morning services we have a Second Helping service at 7:00PM on Sunday nights. You can also tune in to Radio 1000 Monday-Friday at 12:45PM or get connected via our website at www.christtemple860.org for a Word that will ‘speak life’ into your situation. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is coming soon. Will you be ready? We pray that the peace and mercy of God be upon you until the appointed time of Jesus Christ.

Sincerely,

Bishop Gabriel Halton
